Show Notes

Jennifer is a special education teacher, single mother of two teenagers, and a widow of nearly 18 years. Jen became widowed when her firstborn son, Alec was 6 months old and her late husband and she had just found out they were pregnant with their daughter, Grace. Jen shows us how faith has gotten her through not only the loss of her first husband but also the loss of her mother and the divorce with her second husband.

We learn from Jen:

*God allows us to walk through trials to shape us to who we are designed to be in order to help others.

*During stressful times you need to just try to get through each hour by hour and day by day.

*Live for today as you have no idea what tomorrow brings.

*Life is about perspective-someone always has it worse than you.

*Gratitude and giving thanks helps pull you through difficult times.

*With adversity comes opportunity.

*Live by faith, not by sight.
